We take customer safety very seriously and only recommend travels to safe destinations.In addition and where possible, we take compulsory emergency medical evacuation for our clients to help them against any eventuality.With this, they can be evacuated to the nearest hospital while on safari, at no extra costs , and only have to worry about medical bills, in which case would be covered by their travel insurance. Additionally, all our suppliers have adequate insurance and Public liability cover, all to ensure customer safety is guaranteed.

Inspired by this growing passion, she partnered with Kevin Aura to establish Stunning Destinations Safaris — combining her operational and management expertise with his extensive tourism background. Following her relocation to Nairobi, she took an active role in building the company from the ground up, managing daily operations, supplier coordination, reservations, itinerary execution, client communication, and travel logistics.With a background rooted in operations management, customer relations, logistics, and people management, she brings a unique blend of organizational expertise and personalized service to the tourism industry.
Over the years, Hellen has developed strong expertise in tailor-made safari planning, customer experience management, luxury travel coordination, supplier relations, and destination operations across East and Southern Africa. Her ability to understand client preferences, coordinate complex itineraries, and ensure smooth travel execution has played a major role in the company’s growth and reputation.

Kevin is a seasoned tourism and hospitality professional with over 20 years of experience across East and Southern Africa’s travel industry. His expertise spans tour operations, luxury hospitality sales, supplier relationship management, product development, and strategic travel consultancy.
After years of experience across the tourism value chain, Kevin co-founded Stunning Destinations Safaris together with Hellen. Drawing from his extensive industry background, he identified a growing demand for highly personalized, detail-oriented travel experiences. This client-centered philosophy has since become the company’s defining strength.
International and regional travelers benefit from memorable, high-quality journeys curated under his leadership. The company has successfully managed tailor-made travel experiences spanning Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Mozambique, South Africa, and Victoria Falls.
As a safari planner, my professional life is dedicated to crafting unforgettable holidays, a passion that naturally extends into my personal life. Outside of designing bespoke itineraries, I am an avid adventurer who thrives on exploring the world firsthand. Whether navigating off-the-beaten-path terrain, cycling through diverse landscapes, or embarking on wildlife safaris, I am constantly seeking authentic experiences. I balance these active pursuits with peaceful walks along the beach, allowing me to bring a deeply personal, well-rounded perspective to the unique journeys I plan for my clients
Carol’s deep connection to Africa began in 1995 with a surprise trip to Kenya she designed for her husband, John. During this transformative journey, they adopted their first orphaned elephant. That unforgettable experience inspired her lifelong passion for designing bespoke itineraries across Africa and the Indian Ocean. In 2023, Carol channelled her personal dedication into formal advocacy by becoming a founding Trustee and Board Member of the African Elephant Conservation Fund.
For Carol, travel is more than just tourism; it is a vital tool for education and change. She strongly believes that bringing people to Africa not only promotes its diverse regions but also highlights the critical challenges facing its wildlife, economy, and local populations. By connecting travellers directly with the continent, Carol creates awareness that conservation programmes are pivotal to the “heartbeat of Africa” and the survival of its wildlife.
Known for her extensive knowledge of Africa, alongside exceptional skills in management, marketing, communication, and organisation, Carol is widely recognised as both a formidable adversary against conservation threats and a powerful ally to the continent. She and John remain passionately committed to preserving Africa’s wildlife—particularly its elephants. Carol lives and breathes the ethos printed on her business card: “Chase your dreams, capture them, and create memories to treasure forever.”
John’s entry into the world of African travel is the stuff of family legend. For his birthday, his wife Carol threw him an elaborate, African-themed surprise party. The highlight of the evening was a cleverly rigged game of Play Your Cards Right, where John competed against his mother-in-law to win his ultimate dream holiday. When he answered the final question, a massive balloon exploded, raining down smaller balloons and a fluffy toy elephant pinned with a very real itinerary—and an invitation to visit his newly adopted orphan elephant in Kenya.
John boarded the plane completely unaware that Carol had also secretly added a luxury extension to the Seychelles, a surprise he only discovered mid-flight. That legendary trip sparked a lifelong romance with the continent’s diverse ecosystems.
Today, John channels that exact sense of wonder and discovery into his role. Alongside Carol, he is totally committed to the fierce preservation of Africa’s wildlife, particularly its majestic elephant populations. He believes that every itinerary should carry that same magic he felt on his first birthday trip—transforming a holiday into a deeply meaningful, educational journey that leaves a lasting legacy for local conservation.
