What are the departure dates for the vacation packages on your website?

All our safaris are private and you do not need to depend on availability of other people for you to embark on your dream trip. There are therefore no set departure dates for our trips which means that you can depart on whatever day you wish. Every single itinerary on our website can start from any day of the year.

Do you organize group tours?

All our trips are 100% tailormade and do not offer group tours. The only travelers on your trip are you and the companions with whom you choose to travel regardless of the number of people in your party. The tour booked will now become your group. We can therefore customize an experience to suit your specific group needs and where possible negotiate for you group rates which are much cheaper. Contact us and a consultant will be happy to assist. The only exception to this is when you are on a safari where you might share your vehicle with other guests of the lodge. Nevertheless, even in this case, we prefer to work with small lodges and camps with a personal service so we can accommodate your specific interests and you also have an option to upgrade and have exclusive use of vehicles to your group at an extra cost.

Can the tour packages on your website be modified?

Stunning Destinations safaris believes that all travelers are unique in travel requirements. Our packages are therefore intended to serve as a guide for the itinerary you ultimately end up traveling. These suggested itineraries are based on our own expertise, destination experience and most traveled routes! You can choose a trip exactly as it appears on our website, or tailor it further to meet your schedule, interests, and budget with one of our experts.

Are international flights included in the cost of your website vacation packages?

International flights are not included, because we have found that our guests often prefer to arrange their own flights using frequent-flier miles or other means. However, if you would like us to arrange your international flights on your behalf, please contact us and we will be happy to guide you through. However, note that all regional/domestic and local flights and any other transportation during your trip is always included in the cost unless stated otherwise.

What is the average cost of a trip to Africa?

The cost of your trip will vary depending on several factors. These include the length of stay, the locations visited and the cost of the accommodation among other services or activities. Since our trips are fully customized, we can plan a trip based on your individual budget. An average trip should be around $ 350 to $ 900 per person per night excluding any park fees and transport. Depending on your needs and level of luxury, you can have a holiday that costs above $ 4,000 per person sharing per night. At some accommodations, a solo traveler may be required to pay a single room supplement which may drive the costs much higher.

What is included in the cost of your holiday packages?

Our packages would usually include all services from the moment your plane arrives at your destination, where a representative will be awaiting your arrival. All accommodation, transfers, regional and local flights, as well as activities, are arranged and included. All meal plans per destination will be advised accordingly.

Will I have the same guide throughout my holiday?

This depends on your itinerary. We mostly use knowledgeable local guides who are residents of the area they are showing you because they are experts and can be trusted to give you the best experience possible. They have all the information on sightseeing and the most stunning views, which restaurants to recommend, and at what time to visit a popular attraction to avoid the crowds. Where we use local guides, you will usually have a new guide for each park, city or region. Though your guide may change, the quality of the guiding will be consistent, and you can count on the guides to always be friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.

Can you assist with Visa arrangements?

We recommend that you arrange all your necessary documentation for travel including your visas. This is because the entry requirements can change rapidly. However, If you’d like assistance with your visa application, please talk to us and we will be happy to assist you on visa requirements and any related questions you may have.
