Day 1, 2 & 3: You will be met and assisted by our representative at Julias Nyerere International airport in Dar es Salaam, and assisted to connect to your onward flight to Nyerere National park and land at Siwandu airstrip (45 minutes). Your guide will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to Siwandu Camp with an enroute game drive where you will stay for three nights on full board accommodation. Enjoy game drives in Nyerere national park which is home to diverse wildlife, with more than half of Tanzania’s elephant population, over 40,000 hippos, the largest population of lion on the continent and well known for the wild dog sightings. Other activities include boat rides and guided bush walks.

Day 4: After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Dar es Salaam (45 minutes). Connect with a light aircraft flight to Songo Songo Island via Mafia Island (45 minutes). You will be greeted by a Tuk Tuk to take you on a short 5 minute transfer to the jetty and sail over to the Island for your three night stay at Fanjove Island on Full board basis. Fanjove Island is the smallest of six islands in the Songo Songo Archipelago, just off the coast of Tanzania. This iconic sand and coral island with its many palm trees, white sandy beaches and shimmering water is only one kilometer long and about 400 meters wide. Activities include snorkeling off the beach, Kayaking, Island walk and Sunset dhow trip.

Day 7: After your well-deserved vacation on the Island, you will be taken to the airstrip for your onward flight to Dar es Salaam. Connect to your homebound flight or continue with your stay in Dar es Salaam.
